Initial concept

During the on-site investigation, I found that towards evening, local farmers would gather their boats together, listen to the radio, and chat. I think, instead of being on small ships, why not build a space for them to rest next to their workplaces?

At this moment, the beautiful sunset will be a thought-provoking point. I hope that a certain part of this building, along with the elements in the environment, serves as a visual "viewfinder".

On this island, the relatively prominent vegetation includes a tree and several reeds. The trees and reeds located on the island border form a northwest-southeast-facing plane, with a vertical direction that allows for viewing of the sunset. Therefore, I set this as the vertical boundary of the viewfinder, while the remaining horizontal boundary will be composed of buildings, which determines the double-layer structure of some floor shelters.

Garden

Based on the visual contour, it can be observed that fewer elements can interact with buildings on this land.

As can be seen from the picture, the interactive content located in the south is only rich in lawn texture. Therefore, I decided to set up a garden with the original lawn texture preserved in the middle, providing a place for people to directly interact with the environment while expressing respect for the story that happened on this land.
