Anthropocene The Anthropocene is an unofficial geological time unit used to describe the latest period in Earth's history when human activities began to have an impact on the Earth's climate and ecosystem. These impacts include global warming, species extinction, white pollution, and radiation pollution. But behind the term 'Anthropocene' lies the contemplation of human responsibility: this is an era shaped by human behavior, and humanity is shaping the future.
